“We had MIXTAPE perform for our 30th Anniversary Party in the Hangar at Fort Edmonton Park. We had over 500 people in attendance and the band sounded amazing. The entire process of booking the band was very easy and they were all very professional. I had people coming up to me the week after the event asking about them and saying how great they sounded. If I ever have to book another band again, MIXTAPE will be at the top of my list of bands to call.

“MIXTAPE made our wedding incredibly memorable. They had all of our guests singing and dancing all night! I highly recommend them”.

“It was a pleasure to have MIXTAPE play for our event, you were all so friendly! I am in no way an expert when it comes to voice, instruments or sound but I thought that all of you are incredibly talented musicians and vocalists. We loved all of your song choices and could tell you enjoyed what you were doing. I think that MIXTAPE will not have any problems making a name for yourselves in the corporate entertainment world. Please feel free to use me as a reference.”

‘MIXTAPE is that great band straight out of the movies! Great music, well performed by talented musicians. We couldn't stay off the dance floor! Whether you're watching or dancing, you're sure to enjoy yourself.’

is a classically trained tenor gone rogue with his love for pop/rock music. His enthusiasm for the vocal instrument has lead him to sing in Pro Coro Canada, one of Canada's finest choirs, as well as section leading for several choirs in and around Edmonton. When he's not rehearsing or gigging, he teaches voice and is a recording engineer in his home studio, Silver Studios.
is an Edmonton based Singer who's Knockout voice easily ascends from a whisper to a wail. She has an energetic stage presence and soulful style of her own. Amber Currently is performing with MIXTAPE, King Muskafa, The Wedding Crashers and the Mocking Shadows. She is happily taking over the world one band at a time!
When Jen is not playing piano for choirs, musicals, cabarets and schools, she is happily rockin’ the mic with MIXTAPE. She has been lucky enough to perform around Canada, The United States, Europe and Africa and has been a featured recording vocalist for Universal Studios Tokyo and been heard on CBS’s Hawaii Five-0.
is a saxophonist and keyboarder who's not afraid to let his beard down and rock! He never met an instrument he didn't like (except for all brass instruments, of course), and loves playing music of all kinds. In his spare time Dan attempts to cheer for the Oilers, and teaches saxophone and ear training at Macewan University, and Alberta College Conservatory of Music.
Originally inspired by her Dad's Beatles vinyls, guitarist Mo Lefever has been a part of Edmonton's thriving music scene for the past twenty years. From jazz trios to big bands, solo guitar to glam rock, Mo learned the expensive chords early on and boy has it payed off! She tries to pass on the secrets of her success to her guitar students in the MacEwan University music program, but mainly steals their hot licks and youthful energy so she can rip it up in MIXTAPE.
is an accomplished Edmonton bassist and harmony singer. He has played with several award-winning artists at folk and jazz festivals throughout North America. Without him, MIXTAPE would have one less member. In his free time he enjoys playing backgammon, eating good food and indian leg wrestling.
has been making his living with music for over 10 years and is a fan of racquet sports, Cuban cigars and mid-2000's comedy shows on Netflix. Aside from MIXTAPE, he's been lucky enough to tour around Canada, The United States and Europe and has shared the stage with Kathleen Edwards, Aaron Neville, Tommy Banks and a plethora of Juno winning artists.
